Service

You must live for yourself
before you can live for the world,
or be of real service to the world.

You must be able to help yourself
before you can help mankind.

The man who lives exclusively for the world
is not living for himself.

We should bear well in mind
that the only help mankind really wants
is that help that will help them to help themselves.

If you wish to serve the human race
do not antagonize systems, doctrines, methods or beliefs;
be an inspiration to the race
by actually living the very best you know now.

The greatest service that anyone can render to the race
is to properly fill the place he occupies now, to be himself today.

To serve the human race in the largest sense,
we must bring forth into living expression
the truest, the best and the greatest
that we can possibly find in the depths of our own sublime being.
