The field of finer forces in mind
may be termed the unconscious mental field,
and the vastness of this field,
as well as the possibilities of its functions,
is realized when we learn
that the greater part of our mental world is unconscious.
Only a fraction of the mental world of man
is on the surface or up in consciousness;
the larger part is submerged in the depths
of what might be called a mental sea of subconsciousness.
that lies beneath the waking consciousness of man.
The subconscious is only the inner side of the personal world.
The subconscious field is that deeper,
or interior field of life and consciousness
that permeates the physical personality
within what may be called a finer state of life and action.
The subconscious mind
is a deeper and a finer state of mental life
that exists within every atom of the human system;
It is another mental world, so to speak.
Think of the subconscious as a finer mental force,
having distinct powers, functions and possibilities,
of as a great sea of life, energy and power,
the force and capacity of which has never been measured.
This vast interior mental field has layers beneath layers
of unused power and energy ready for use.
There are layers upon layers beneath layers
of unused energy in the subconscious world,
and we can awaken and develop as much of that dormant energy
as we may require.
Every dormant force found in the body
responds to the subconscious mind;
and the subconscious mind responds to the power of thought.
To think subconsciously
is to think with attention concentrated
upon the inner substance of mind and body.
The subconscious constitutes the heart of mentality
or the vital center of the entire mental world.
It is the finer forces
- also termed the subconscious forces -
that govern everything in the human system.
The powers of subconscious mind in you
and the powers of "nature" in you
are one and the same thing.
It is the subconscious that governs
all those processes in the human system
that we speak of as nature.
The subconscious mind controls all the forces employed
in the movement of mind or body.
The subconscious powers are producing powers;
they invariably produce and express in the physical personality
whatever is constantly brought before their attention.
Every idea or belief that is impressed
upon the mind in deep feeling will enter the subconscious.
Whatever we accept with implicit faith will enter the subconscious.
What we mentally feel
we invariably impress upon the subconscious,
and there is a tendency to mentally feel every thought
that is given prolonged or serious attention.
What enters the subconscious of any mind will become part of that mind,
and will, to a degree, affect the nature, the character,
the quality, the thoughts and the action of that mind.
Anything that enters mind
while mind is in the state of deep feeling,
is deeply impressed;
and it is the deepest impressions
that serve as patterns for creative energies.
The subconscious mind always does what it is impressed to do,
and whatever we think deeply with feeling and conviction
will impress itself upon the subconscious.
Whatever we impress upon the subconscious,
that the subconscious will reproduce
and bring forth into the personal life.
Whatever we accept with implicit faith will enter the subconscious.

Everything multiplies in the subconscious,
whether it be good or otherwise.
Personally, each person is only as much
as he has, consciously or unconsciously,
directed the subconscious to produce,
and he will remain where he is
so long as he does not direct the subconscious
to produce more.
Whatever is impressed on the subconscious
will after a while be expressed
from the subconscious into the personality.
The subconscious will cause you to be
what you think you are.
Tendencies that are fixed or deeply seated,
second nature, so to speak, are always subconscious.
You are as you think in the subconscious;
therefore to change yourself
you must change your subconscious thought.
Subconscious tendencies can be changed or reversed
only through subconscious action.
Every change that is brought about in the subconscious mind
will produce a corresponding change in mind and body.
When the subconscious becomes calm and serene in all its actions
every atom in the system will work in perfect harmony.
Your mind will do anything for you
if you really want it done.
every atom in the system will work in perfect harmony.
Your mind will do anything for you
if you really want it done.
